Avis and Budget Secure Sunday Times Top Brands Awards
For the 12th consecutive year, Avis was once again awarded with the Business to Business award in the Car Hire Category at the 17th Sunday Times Top Brand Awards ceremony hosted on 25 August in Sandton.

The Sunday Times Top Brands Award is one of the most notable brand awards in the country. The categories for the ceremony include 39 consumer and 15 business categories. Recipients are chosen by the customer, with research methodology conducted by TNS Research Surveys amongst 3500 consumers in metro and non-metro areas.
A separate survey is also conducted amongst business leaders with respect to categories relating to business needs and services. In addition to measuring usage, they look at how non users perceive the brand in relation to other brands in the category.
In March 2015, Avis was granted the Budget Car Rental brand for southern Africa, which secured third place in the Business to Business award in the Car Hire Category at the 17th Sunday Times Top Brand Awards.
